Prescription skin treatments
Some skin conditions respond best to a prescription treatment alongside the right skincare. We only prescribe after a consultation with one of our doctors or prescribers, and only when it is right for you.
From consultation to your door
- 1Book a skin consultation
In clinic in Balham, or a virtual appointment.
- 2A full assessment
Your doctor or prescriber looks at your skin, your medical history, any medicines you take, and whether you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning a pregnancy.
- 3A plan that is right for you
Many people need only the right skincare. If a prescription treatment is appropriate, it is added to your plan with clear directions.
- 4Dispensed by a UK pharmacy
Prescriptions are dispensed by a registered UK pharmacy and posted to you, and we follow up to see how your skin is responding.
When a prescription can help
Acne and breakouts
Blackheads, spots and inflamed breakouts, including adult and hormonal acne, and the marks they can leave behind.
Rosacea and redness
Flushing, persistent redness, and the bumps and spots of rosacea.
Melasma and pigmentation
Patches of darker skin, sun spots and dark marks after acne or inflammation.
Sun damage and skin ageing
Fine lines, rough texture and uneven tone caused by years of sun exposure.
Eczema and dermatitis
Flare-ups of dry, itchy, inflamed skin, including reactions to products.
Other common skin conditions
Including perioral dermatitis, seborrhoeic dermatitis and dandruff, recurrent cold sores and some fungal skin conditions.
Prescription medicines are never sold on this website. Whether a prescription is right for you is a decision your clinician makes with you, after a consultation. Not everyone needs or is suitable for one.
